KINDLY CONSIDER NGTF IN YOUR HOLIDAY AND END-YEAR-GIVING

We are still believing big for DREAM PLAN #2 to have a KITCHEN MAKEOVER. We cook elaborately but not without the partnership of Hudson Valley Christian Church and Safe Harbors allowing us the use of their ovens. The deeper we engage into the Culinary Business Internships, the more necessary it becomes to have our own stove and kitchen. We are functioning like pioneers by mixing our ingredients and then walking our pans across the street, down an elevator and into the ovens at Safe Harbors or driving 4 blocks away to Hudson Valley Christian Church in order to cook. All the kids are believing for our own beautiful kitchen in 2019.

NOW IT’S TIME FOR HOLIDAY FESTIVITIES

 This year we are having an extraordinary Christmas Eve Birthday Party for King Jesus.
Here’s the plan: On November 28th and 29th from 2:30 - 5:30 we are inviting youth from 9-16 years old to come to a party. Each youth needs to bring 1 bag of candy, 1 pair of gloves and winter hat to fit a teenage boy. (Dollar store bought is fine).
At the party they can build a Holiday candy house, play games, enjoy free food, and “FILL A LAMBS TREE BOX” to be delivered to incarcerated teen boys spending their Christmas without friends & family. All the kids that fill & decorate a box will send a personalized gift bag especially designed for them. We give items that are especially needed and try our best to fulfill a dream gift they may request.

HERE IS WHERE YOUR HELP COMES IN

 We need sponsors to help us fill the Christmas Eve gift bags with needed items.
On November 28th & 29th kids that “FILL A LAMBS TREE BOX,” will complete a form with their sizes and dream gift. Everyone who will sponsor one of these at-risk youths will be contacted with the specifics of the items needed.

Cultivating a thankful heart is vital. We are motivated to mentor youth to give back and be thankful in all circumstances. Often, we look at what we do not have and paint a picture excluding the list of blessings we do have. Our aim this Christmas is to empower the kids to give to other kids in more difficult circumstances then they are. As they focus on giving, we will give our attention toward supplying items to them that they really need. 

FUNDAMENTAL NEEDS

I would like to take a moment to share with our family of faithful supporters, the fundamental needs we here at NGTF have in order to move effectively into the Holiday giving we provide, without being limited by financial pressures. 

Here is a list of barebones financial obligations that we MUST meet monthly to up-hold our everyday operations.

1- Monthly Rent on 104 Broadway $1000.00
2- Monthly Gas and Electric $336.00
3- Monthly Liability Insurance $77.30  (This is mandatory to our renters agreement)
4- Monthly Vehicle Insurance $268.28
5- Monthly Security System $32.00
6- Monthly Internet, Office Phone $89.99
7- Monthly Website Host $124.00
8- Monthly Pastor Rosey Housing $1000.00
9- Monthly Vehicle Fuel Cost $600.00  (Includes gasoline for kids & grocery donation pickup)
TOTAL BASICS $3527.57


This does not include any activities, repairs or programs we host for the Kids.
We easily add another bottom line of $1700.00 a month to run those initiatives.

THANKFUL BLESSINGS AND THINGS NEEDED:
  1. For the sponsors of 9 youth interns who made the Fall 2018 Culinary Business internship come true.
  2. For Meadow Hill Reform church for juice donations
  3. For all the faithful monthly supports making donations to keep our overhead current.
CURRENT NEEDS
  1. Most important is for operating expenses to stay current. Those who could make a monthly pledge for a- $100.00. 
  2. HUGE NEED FOR VOLUNTEERS.
  3. Real Fruit Juice is an on-going need. Juicy Juice is a good choice.
  4. COPY PAPER letter size 500 sheet packs 8 ½ X 11in and or gift cards to Office Depot for ink and copy paper.                                                 
  5. DREAM PLAN #2 TO HAVE A KITCHEN MAKE OVER. Underwriters needed.
  6. Christmas gift bag sponsors needed.
