About Us
Utilizing more than 35 years of mission experience, the Northeast Gateway to Freedom in Newburgh, New York, provides youth in the community valuable experience to build integrity and morality, thus becoming productive members of society. The purpose of this ministry is to glorify God by serving the greater body of Jesus Christ across genders, cultures, and denominations, both in the United States and internationally. To uphold that notion, we provide children with mentoring, internships and daily meals. Currently we provide more than 7,100 nutritious dinners per year. Our yearly outreach provides afterschool initiative for kids from the second to twelfth grades. Summer programs offer internships. We accept those from the local judicial system in need of community service for 19-21 year olds, as well.
